a small, conceptual garden, this design examined aspects of beekeeping and took influence from bee behaviour, feeding needs and hive forms. the central shelter was formed as a human scale 'expanded' hive which held harvested honey, whilst a bank of nectar rich planting and galvanised bog planter provided for the bees themselves.
